Jake is what you call a guitar teacher. No flashy lights, over saturated marketing or spreading specific lessons across 50 different videos just to cash in on people. He gets right down to business where it’s on the table for us to improve at the instrument. He really trims the fat and gets to the lean mean protein of the food of musical knowledge. Thanx Mr. Lizzio, rock on brother!!

It's taking me some time to get though the course, not due to Jakes teaching. His style is so relaxed and super informative, I just want to take my time and absorb the practice. His teaching is never boring and he is always ready to help. I know when I am through the course, I will go back through it again, because there are so many gems, it's hard to pick them all up along the way!

Jake does an excellent job of explaining a variety of concepts in music theory from square 1 to 100. His methodical style of teaching makes his lessons approachable for beginners, and easy to navigate for those more experienced looking for specific information. 10/10
