For me, this was a great journey through the basics of music theory. Just what I needed to become more confident when composing music. I bought my first guitar for this course, and it was exciting to all the sudden find myself be able to improvise on blues tracks, for example. I enjoyed all the lessons very much. Thank you!

Overall a very good course that covers a lot of musical ground in a short period of time. A very complete discussion for the beginning song writer that touches all the bases that they should really know to go forward.

This was the perfect course for me. I knew a decent amount of theory before this course, but now I'm rest assured that I know everything needed to write quality music. Jake is a master song writer and teacher. He narrowed down everything a modern composer should know to be successful. I highly recommend. Wish I had this course when I first started!!
